Just wondering, what are some good ways to lose about 1inch of fat covering the abs. I workout but sometimes I get discouraged because I'm not seeing results as fast as I would like to...

To lose that tummy padding, just keep doing your cardio. That's how you burn the calories and the excess fat so you can uncover those strong abs you've been working on. As the weight comes off, the underlying muscle tissue becomes much more visible.
You will get there - you know I believe hard work pays off, and it really does :o)
