Cozy Fall Meditation - Letting Go

As living beings, we are all an integral part of nature and affected by her instinctual transformations. Each season has its own unique energy, and we can use that energy as a positive force for change and mindfulness in our lives. Getting in touch with nature grounds us, fortifies us, and heals us. The season of autumn, in particular, can be used as a catalyst to remedy burdens, simplify life, and decide what's important to you. It's a season of preparation for the long, lean winter ahead. Just as trees shed their leaves to lighten their burden for hibernation during the cold winter ahead, we can harness that same energy and use it to lighten our burdens; to reflect on our lives and determine where we have excess baggage and what needs our attention. Along with the evolution of our beautiful trees, we can learn to let go too. In my video below, I guide you through a relaxing meditation to help you let go, evaluate your life, and determine changes you may need to make to lighten your burdens. This video was filmed on a cozy rainy fall day to assist you in the process of letting go. The sounds of the falling rain are therapeutic, cathartic, and help wash away negative energy. I hope you will save this video and listen to it often.  Sometimes it takes time for the relaxation and meditation process to yield changes in habits and mindsets, so give yourself time. Visit this video often, until it becomes a soothing friend that helps you drift off to a comfortable place upon tuning in. This year has been a very challenging one for so many of us. There is much fear, sadness, and anxiety, and I want to help you release that negative energy that we have all built up inside. The environment that we are all being exposed to can easily dampen our life force and positive energy flow, so we must seek ways to help renew our positive energy as much as we can. Look to ways that you can connect more with nature. Nature is a constant and is always there for you. It can be as affective for relieving anxiety, stress, and depression as any medication you can take with no unwanted side effects. Start and end your day listening to my video below. As you drift along with me relaxing to my guided meditation and the sounds of the falling rain on a cozy fall day, write down any thoughts that come to you that you identify as needing attention in your life. Start a list of intentions, and when you're ready, begin to tackle each item on your list. Give yourself this time to lighten your load before the cold dormant winter sets in. The first step in healing, or making changes in your life, is always recognizing there's a problem. Explore today with my video. Cauliflower Pizza Crust Recipe - Tastes Just Like Pizza!

Making the best cauliflower pizza crust can be so easy with my recipe! I show you step by step in my video below. There are so many recipes on the web and I tried a bunch of them. Some of them were complicated and time consuming, and others left me flat with the taste. Through trial and error I created my own recipe for a hearty and delicious cauliflower crust pizza that won't fall apart, and it tastes like real pizza! I share it with you in this video. The trick is to combine the right ingredients and then be sure to wait about ten minutes after it's done baking before you cut into it and try to pick it up, because just like ordinary grain crust pizza, you must let it settle a bit before you can slice and handle it. I hope you love my recipe as much as my family and I do! It's a real winner in our household. You get the robust zest of tomato and yummy stretchy mozzarella in every bite! Sundays have always been pizza Sundays where I make homemade pizza, but for the last six months, they've been cauliflower pizzas. It's a great way to get more vegetables into your diet, and if you have young children, it's a great way to sneak more vegetables into their diet. It truly is delicious! And if you are trying to lose weight or on a keto diet, this is perfect for you because it's low carb, grain free, and gluten free, and cauliflower has just 25 calories per cup and 3 grams of fiber, so you can eat a lot of it without worry about gaining weight! It's very satisfying and super healthy for you, which I discuss in my video as well. I hope you will give it a try; let me know in the comments below the video. xoLinda -YouTips4U

Friday Reflection

Congratulations, you made it through another week! 🎉One step at a time we shall make it through the difficult times we face in life together. United in faith and spirit we can face any obstacle cast upon us. If you only take one step each day towards your goal, you are making progress. Everyone has their own timeline, so be proud of how far you've come, and remain hopeful for the path forward. Celebrate yourself this weekend! Celebrate your achievement, hard work, focus, courage, dedication, and strength. Celebrate the fact that despite all the arrows being thrown at you on a daily basis, you persevered and you are grateful. Delight in any progress, no matter how small, and promise yourself that you will continue to slowly and steadily chisel a path forward. I know it's not easy, anything worthwhile never is. There will always be obstacles along the path of life and we cannot always predict what they will be, but by learning how to overcome challenges, we build skills of resistance and knowledge to solve problems in the future. Choose to focus on the good things in your life, the positive forces, the things and people you know you can depend on. When you do, solutions begin to present themselves. Keep the faith my friends, and reward yourself this weekend for making it this far in your ever-unfolding journey.❤️

Will Vitamin E Help Lower My Cholesterol

Experts recommend getting vitamin E from foods rather than supplements since there is no conclusive evidence that supplements lower cholesterol or reduce the risk of heart attack.  Good food sources of vitamin E include vegetable oils, eggs, wheat germ, green leafy vegetables, dried beans, nuts, fish, and meat. If you're taking vitamin E supplements, be aware that the American Heart Association has reported that taking 400 IU or more of Vitamin E can increase the risk of death and should be avoided. It's always best to get your vitamins and nutrition from natural foods.
