The skin on your neck is thin and delicate and gets greater amounts sun exposure when compared to other areas of your body. We often think of shielding our faces from excessive sun exposure with hats and sunblocks, but we tend to forget about the needs of our delicate necks. Over the years, this repeated U.V. exposure can lead to premature aging and sagging of neck skin where wrinkles and lines begin to etch, resulting in what many unflatteringly refer to as "turkey neck". Oftentimes, the skin on the neck will show signs of aging well before a woman's face will, especially if she yoyo diets.
