Why Is Laughter Contagious?
Have you ever wondered why laughter is so contagious? When one person laughs, it usually causes the next person to laugh, and so on and so forth. As the expression goes, "laugh and the whole world laughs with you!" Studies have shown that laughter is a bonding mechanism among people that dates as far back as early human existence, even before there was spoken language. The relationship between the brain and laughter is still not fully understood, but researchers do know that laughter seems to be produced via a circuit that runs through many regions of the brain. Thus, damaging any one of these regions can impair one's sense of humor. When people hear laughing, the part of the brain known as the premotor cortical region is activated, which is the part of the brain that causes our facial muscles to react to sounds, and we being to smile. As the brains of many people can be stimulated this way at once, it fosters bonding. We are more likely as a species to bond in response to positive sounds rather than negative sounds. In fact, our brain's reaction to negative sounds like screeching is much lower than its reaction to positive sounds like laughter, so there is a much higher likelihood of bonding with another person over positive sounds like laughter. Before we had speech, laughter was a way to show another group or tribe that you meant no harm and wanted to be friends. It was and still is a very important social tool that builds bonds between people. In fact, one of the traits rated to be most attractive by women is a man that makes her laugh. Watch my latest video below to learn more about the power of laughter and how you can use laughter as a therapy to bring about positive changes in your life and health. It's pretty remarkable and it's available to everyone!

True Happiness Comes From Within
If you choose to attach your happiness to someone or something else, especially if you look to social media for acceptance and validation, I guarantee that you will always be chasing it, or unhappy. Your happiness will always be tied to the next thing or partner or "like", and you will be living YOUR life for someone else. YOUR life will depend on being noticed or validated by others, and so your happiness will always be outside of your control. You will be left wanting, waiting, and hoping for it, and even if you received the validation you so desperately deserve because you posted just the right photo to Instagram, or your boss finally gave you a raise, the feelings of acceptance, validation, and happiness, will only be temporary. Unfortunately, you know immediately that your happiness is fleeting because you know you will have to start all over again searching and hoping for something else or someone else to happen, in order to feel happy again. This is because your happiness was never truly yours to begin with. Someone or something had to intervene or occur so you could be happy. If you truly want happiness, the kind that stays with you no matter what happens, that no one can take away, then don't give up power over your own life. Life doesn't wait for you to live it; it moves on and people move on. If you want true happiness, you have to stop searching and start living. Each day is a new opportunity for you to be happy. To live your life, be grateful, and interact with real people. To take action and not stop to take a photo of it. Just live! Live your moments, make your memories, be free! An eagle lives the life of an eagle, not the life of a cat, and it doesn't need validation to soar. Be true to who you are and do what you enjoy, regardless of what others think, or who sees you doing it. Stop placing your joy or your mental health in the hands of others, and always remember that you are the only one that has the power to make you happy.❤️

10 Life Lessons I Learned In The Last 10 Years
I celebrated 10 years on YouTube this past Saturday, November 8, 2018 by creating a special video to share insightful life lessons that I learned in the last 10 years. My channel is one of the few channels not trying to sell you something with my message, or put out content just to get views, nor is my community inflated with marketing bots posing as viewers, which means you can trust that I sincerely have your best interests in mind whenever I present a video for you to watch. The sole purpose of my message is to help and inspire you to lead a better quality life with inspirational and motivational tips and tricks on health, beauty, fitness, lifestyle and so much more that have worked for me. There have been so many things that I have learned over these past 10 years about life, love, beauty, relationships, and so much more, but several lessons stood out to me as very important; things I think others will benefit greatly from knowing. I decided I would share them in my video below, and I hope you will celebrate my anniversary with me by watching it. I hope I can inspire you to reflect on the past 10 years of your life, and even write them down. It's a wonderful exercise that can lead to a higher level of awareness. I also think it's so important to share our wisdom that we gain by living and experiencing life because we can all learn so much from each other; more than any school or class could ever teach. In our society, sharing life experience can be a challenge as extended families are often separated as each person seeks to fulfill his or her own destiny independently. However, in many other cultures, a unified extended family is a powerful source of energy and education for the younger generations. Life experience is gained by living, experiencing, and reflecting and is a priceless asset to be cherished and shared. Fortunately, with the rise of the internet and the ability to connect with so many more people than ever before, we have the unique opportunity to learn more from eachother than ever before. Use it to your advantage to enhance your growth as a person, parent, and friend, and to help others. I hope you love my video and share it, and that you will continue to enjoy the gift I love to give most, my heart. A warm, heartfelt thank you to all who have watched and supported me and my YouTube channel over the years. I sincerely appreciate all your love, encouragement, and support. I am very grateful for all of you, and I have so much more to share.❤️

My Husband's Ex Wants To See Him
Question: Hi YouTips4U, I love your videos on Body Language https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLoV67mdvkVn_aTZLXRbBUQnmgcSF75t3d and I'm hoping you can answer a relationship question for me. My husband's college girlfriend, whom he was quite serious with, is coming into town for a visit and wants to have dinner with him so they can catch up. He asked me if it's o.k. with me, but I'm not sure what to say to him. My stomach does turn when I think about it and I'm uneasy, but I'm not sure whether I'm just being petty and should say it's fine. Can you give me your opinion? Thanks, Sue
Answer: Hi Sue, thanks for your question and I'll definitely try to help. I understand how you would feel uncomfortable about this. I'm sure you're thinking that if you trust him completely you shouldn't have a problem saying yes to his question. I do think trust is essential in a relationship, however, there are instances and circumstances that could be harmful to your relationship. The risk may not be worth taking and you don't want to give yourself anxiety about this. I think you can suggest something else to your husband and show good faith. Why don't you and your husband go out with her as a couple. He should want to introduce you to her. And why dinner? I think lunch would be better! It's daytime and brighter and friendlier. You could also suggest having her over to your home for dinner. I think it will show that you are willing to accommodate their friendship but not to the point where it's just him and her together alone for dinner. If he doesn't like your suggestions, then perhaps you should ask him how he would feel if you went out to dinner with an old flame if the roles were reversed. If he doesn't take you up on your offer to meet her as a couple, then you should probably tell him you're not comfortable with him meeting up with his ex alone, and that's that! To me it just doesn't seem worth the risk. I hope I could help. Good luck :)
