Hi Everybody, I hope you're enjoying this holiday season! I know it's been a tough year with unemployment at an all-time high and many folks out of work. Let your holiday season be about family and friends and spending time together. If you are looking for a suggestion for a very practical, and I feel a necessary gift for a loved one, how about a natural boar bristle brush! They are so wonderful for your hair and scalp. It will distribute the natural oils through your hair and massage your scalp at the same time. It give your hair terrific shine. So that's my suggestion for you hair lovers out there, and who wouldn't want a nice practical gift like that. For anyone with long hair, it's a must have.
Think healthy useful and practical this season. Try to remember to think what the person you are buying for would like, not what you like. It's much easier that way.
If you are looking to spend a little more on your loved one, how about a membership to a gym. Always a great gift - the gift of health!
Below is the one I use and I love it.
Happy Holidays :o)
Thanks for the tip!
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog and i love it thanks!I have a question, how do you keep breasts firm and perky after having babies? I have a 1 1/2 year old girl and they are still perky but im afraid if i have another they wont be anymore. Thanks so much for all you do!
ReplyDeleteHi, our poor breasts, they do take a beating having children. The good news is that you will definitely be able to keep your perky breasts even after you have your second child. I have to children and like you I worried about the same thing. I breastfed both and had all the wear and tear that comes with that. I can tell you that they will look a bit different shortly after you stop breastfeeding, however, they eventually go back to their former shape provided you do a few things to help them. One, work out your pectoral muscles (chest) with weights and push ups regularly. This helps draw the skin back and lift your breasts, and two, keep your weight steady. Of course you will gain weight with pregnancy and breastfeeding, however, don't gain excessive weight, and then make an effort to lose it and get back to prepregnancy weight. If you gain excessive weight, you are inevitably stretching your breast tissue further which we want to avoid. Skin is very resilient, but given too much weight, can lose a lot of its elasticity. So enjoy your babies because they grow so fast, and know that you will still be gorgeous even after your second baby. It will just take a little effort.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! very helpful . I know my baby is way more important than how I look but I still do want to look nice for me and my man :) . Its good to know there is hope . I am all about loving my babies but I never want to stop looking good! Thanks again Your a sweety :)
ReplyDeleteIs that the same for the belly?? my skin went right back to being nice but I hear the second time around it doesnt go back. Your tummy is amazing though. Did you keep your stomach muscles strong? maybe I will just do what I did the first time and not gain too much weight and just eat healthy and excersise. Any tips from you I would love beacuse you look great and you have had two babies. Thanks!! :)
