Is Dermarolling or Microneedling Safe? Does It Work?

Well, after doing a bit of research on dermarolling and microneedling, which I share in my latest YouTube video, Dermarolling and Microneedling: Is It Safe? Does It Work?, it seems the latest beauty craze is another in the risky category.  We really have to be careful these days about what's being promoted as the latest and greatest anti-aging beauty treatment. Products are getting riskier and riskier to the health of our skin and bodies. With the help of social media, the movement into cosmeceuticals (part cosmetics and part pharmaceutical drugs) has been swift and the derma roller is no exception. It's another in the category of medical-type therapies to enhance beauty. The derma roller was invented as tool to better deliver pharmaceutical drugs into the human body and next thing you know it has found its way into the beauty world. It promises smoother skin, fading of acne scars, stretch marks, and hyperpigmentation, and even claims to help prevent aging by activating collagen production. There is no shortage of beauty gurus on YouTube and the internet promoting its use. However, BUYER BEWARE on this one, because it also comes with great risk to your health.

Several of my viewers asked me whether I would review the dermaroller and micro needling and also wanted to know if I used it on my own skin. So, in my latest video below I share that information, which is honest and truthful as always. You will learn all about this so-called anti-aging beauty treatment. Be sure to check out the comments below the video too, so you can hear the experiences of others who have used it. It's eye opening. You will be surprised that something so popular in the beauty community is actually quite harmful for your skin and fraught with risk to your health. If you are currently using this device on your skin, or if you are considering using it, don't wait another minute, watch my video so you can make an informed and educated decision. We live in a world that is product and revenue driven, please always be aware of that. Unfortunately, when products become popular, especially if the message is delivered by someone you like and enjoy watching to, then people tend to let their guards down and can often just follow the crowd, thinking that if everyone is doing it, it must be safe and it must work. Not the case. Sadly, it's about making money at the expense of women's insecurities about their looks and aging; a marketing tactic that has been used on women for decades. So when someone is trying to convince you to injure yourself in the name of beauty and looking younger, tell them no thanks!

I hope you like my video, and please remember to share it!
