Air Drying Your Hair With Style

Are you trying to grow your hair long? Perhaps you just want your current length hair to look healthy and not dry, brittle and full of split ends. For healthier, shinier hair, it's important to limit the use of heat styling tools. Things like flat irons, straighteners, blow dryers and curling irons, can zap your hair of it's natural moisture and it's ability to retain moisture. This can lead to dry damaged hair that simply breaks off and can make growing and maintaining long hair quite a challenge, but you don't have to give up style because you want to air dry your hair. In my latest YouTube video, I show you how to embrace air drying your hair by creating an easy curly hair look using only your finger. That's right, all you need to make these easy pin curls is your own finger and some bobby pins. You will be pleasantly surprised at how beautiful you will look with curly hair and how healthy your hair will feel not having been attacked yet again by heat. You can also use the same technique to give volume and bounce to your hair if you have thin or straight hair. THE ABSOLUTE BEST Aluminum-Free Natural Deodorant

About 12 years ago, I stopped using antiperspirants because they contain aluminum. If you are not familiar with how aluminum stops you from sweating, I will explain. The aluminum in the anti-perspirant is absorbed through the skin and into your sweat glands where it mixes with water from your cells. That causes the aluminum to swell and form a plug, which then blocks your sweat glands from being able to excrete sweat or release perspiration.  There were studies done that linked the build up of aluminum in the body to breast cancer as well as Alzheimer's disease. After hearing about those studies, I decided to play it safe and I stopped using antiperspirants and started using deodorants.  It's not easy to find a deodorant that really works, but I finally found a excellent natural deodorant by Arm and Hammer that I absolutely love, and it really works at stopping odor! The Benefits of Cardio Exercise For Looking Younger and Staying Fit


Many people write me about how to get in shape or how to have a flat stomach, or how to have young looking skin. What's the secret they ask. Well, there really isn't a secret. I would never try to sell you a magic pill or tell you this product is the fountain of youth. It's not who I am. Unfortunately, there are people using that approach everyday to profit from unsuspecting hopeful people. Being fit, looking your best you, and your youngest you, does not come in a tube of Retin-A or some botox or filler injections, or even in an expensive beauty cream. Why, because it's temporary, and it messes with your self esteem, and it may even speed up the aging process of your skin.  On my YouTube channel I try to help people realize that the secret to beauty, looking younger, and staying fit throughout your life is within you. We all the power to look and feel younger, or how about looking like time has stood still for you, which is what I like to think. If I can impart one piece of advice to you about staying young looking it would be to exercise regularly because that will help keep your blood enriched with fresh oxygen and your bodily functions operating efficiently. Life is movement. Too often we simply slow down too much as we age, starving our cells of vital nutrients. Don't overdo it though because too much of any good thing can have a negative effect on your body as it becomes just another stress for you.  In my most recent video, I do an at home cardio workout that's super fun and energizing to help motivate you to just get moving. Just be free, have fun, and move. I think it's very helpful to have a video you can watch to exercise along with someone, it can be very motivating, and that's why I shared my video on YouTube. Green Tea - Nourish Your Skin Like You Do Your Body

With so many products on the market promising amazing results for our skin, we've come to believe that the cosmetic companies are the ones with the secret to great skin. I thought that too when I was young girl, however, with age comes wisdom and I have found that is simply not so.

The very same things that are responsible for having good health will provide you with beautiful skin. It's important that we make room in our skin care routine for natural foods to be used as skincare treatments. Natural foods provide our skin with much needed vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and protection from the enviroment, bacteria, and even skin cancer. In my latest YouTube video I share a wonderful and simple recipe that contains green tea, which is a powerhouse of antioxidants for your skin. It protects you skin from UV damage and is an amazing anti-aging, anti-wrinkle treatment. I use green tea in my recipe to make an amazing facial mask for the skin. It's one of my absolute favorites! It's incredibly simple to make and yields enough for a week of treatments, which can be especially helpful if you are trying to fade dark spots, heal acne, shrink pores, or reduce puffy under-eye bags. Stock Investing For Beginners

Over the decades, there has been one investment vehicle that has outperformed all the rest and that is the stock market. It is the single biggest wealth creator of our time and it is accessible to almost everyone. The key is to know when and how to invest, and to remember that you need a long-term time horizon. Having a long-term time horizon for the money that you invest in the stock market is important if you are investing for your future, retirement, or even day trading, because it MUST be money that you do not need to live your daily life. In other words, it is your last dollar, not your first dollar. It should be money that you don't need for rent, repairs, or the necessities of life, so that if the stock market were to turn out of favor, you would not be caught off-guard with no money.



So what does the owner of a beauty and lifestyle channel on YouTube know about stock investing? Well, you may not know this unless you are a regular viewer of my channel because I've mentioned it only a few times, but I'm a finance girl. I'm an accountant and about 10 years ago, I became very interested in learning more about active investing and day trading in the stock market, so I did what I do best and that is I set out to learn all I could, without going back to school that is, no time for that!  I learned all I could from reading books, articles, and taking internet courses, and with and my financial and business background, I began to put my own hard-earned money into the stock market to test my newly acquired knowledge.  It was love and first try; I made a $100 gain on my first trade and I was hooked.
