Air Drying Your Hair With Style

Are you trying to grow your hair long? Perhaps you just want your current length hair to look healthy and not dry, brittle and full of split ends. For healthier, shinier hair, it's important to limit the use of heat styling tools. Things like flat irons, straighteners, blow dryers and curling irons, can zap your hair of it's natural moisture and it's ability to retain moisture. This can lead to dry damaged hair that simply breaks off and can make growing and maintaining long hair quite a challenge, but you don't have to give up style because you want to air dry your hair. In my latest YouTube video, I show you how to embrace air drying your hair by creating an easy curly hair look using only your finger. That's right, all you need to make these easy pin curls is your own finger and some bobby pins. You will be pleasantly surprised at how beautiful you will look with curly hair and how healthy your hair will feel not having been attacked yet again by heat. You can also use the same technique to give volume and bounce to your hair if you have thin or straight hair. I have quite a few no-heat hairstyle videos for you on YouTube to make air drying your hair fun and pretty. I hope you'll watch them all. You can watch my latest curly hairstyle tutorial now to learn how to do easy curly hair with finger curls. xo Linda

THE ABSOLUTE BEST Aluminum-Free Natural Deodorant

About 12 years ago, I stopped using antiperspirants because they contain aluminum. If you are not familiar with how aluminum stops you from sweating, I will explain. The aluminum in the anti-perspirant is absorbed through the skin and into your sweat glands where it mixes with water from your cells. That causes the aluminum to swell and form a plug, which then blocks your sweat glands from being able to excrete sweat or release perspiration.  There were studies done that linked the build up of aluminum in the body to breast cancer as well as Alzheimer's disease. After hearing about those studies, I decided to play it safe and I stopped using antiperspirants and started using deodorants.  It's not easy to find a deodorant that really works, but I finally found a excellent natural deodorant by Arm and Hammer that I absolutely love, and it really works at stopping odor! In my latest video below, I tell you all about it's benefits, including that it truly smells amazing!  Here's the link to my video so you can learn all about it!
I really think you will love it! Let me know in the comments if you're going to give it a try!

The Benefits of Cardio Exercise For Looking Younger and Staying Fit

Many people write me about how to get in shape or how to have a flat stomach, or how to have young looking skin. What's the secret they ask. Well, there really isn't a secret. I would never try to sell you a magic pill or tell you this product is the fountain of youth. It's not who I am. Unfortunately, there are people using that approach everyday to profit from unsuspecting hopeful people. Being fit, looking your best you, and your youngest you, does not come in a tube of Retin-A or some botox or filler injections, or even in an expensive beauty cream. Why, because it's temporary, and it messes with your self esteem, and it may even speed up the aging process of your skin.  On my YouTube channel I try to help people realize that the secret to beauty, looking younger, and staying fit throughout your life is within you. We all the power to look and feel younger, or how about looking like time has stood still for you, which is what I like to think. By making certain helpful lifestyle choices you can alter your aging process and reverse the hands of time.  I discuss how I stayed fit and youthful looking in my videos which you can watch below.

Part 1 of How I Stayed Young and Fit Naturally

Part 2 of How I Stayed Young and Fit Naturally

If I can impart one piece of advice to you about staying young looking it would be to exercise regularly because that will help keep your blood enriched with fresh oxygen and your bodily functions operating efficiently. Life is movement. Too often we simply slow down too much as we age, starving our cells of vital nutrients. Don't overdo it though because too much of any good thing can have a negative effect on your body as it becomes just another stress for you.  In my most recent video, I do an at home cardio workout that's super fun and energizing to help motivate you to just get moving. Just be free, have fun, and move. I think it's very helpful to have a video you can watch to exercise along with someone, it can be very motivating, and that's why I shared my video on YouTube. I want to help motivate you to do this incredibly rejuvenate beauty treatment....exercise! My video is fun, freestyle, motivating, and will get your mood rising right along with your heart rate. You can watch it below and don't forget to share it! Now, start moving today!

Green Tea - Nourish Your Skin Like You Do Your Body

With so many products on the market promising amazing results for our skin, we've come to believe that the cosmetic companies are the ones with the secret to great skin. I thought that too when I was young girl, however, with age comes wisdom and I have found that is simply not so.

The very same things that are responsible for having good health will provide you with beautiful skin. It's important that we make room in our skin care routine for natural foods to be used as skincare treatments. Natural foods provide our skin with much needed vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and protection from the enviroment, bacteria, and even skin cancer. In my latest YouTube video I share a wonderful and simple recipe that contains green tea, which is a powerhouse of antioxidants for your skin. It protects you skin from UV damage and is an amazing anti-aging, anti-wrinkle treatment. I use green tea in my recipe to make an amazing facial mask for the skin. It's one of my absolute favorites! It's incredibly simple to make and yields enough for a week of treatments, which can be especially helpful if you are trying to fade dark spots, heal acne, shrink pores, or reduce puffy under-eye bags. Watch my video below for how to make this powerful mask and make it a regular part of your life for soft, smooth, wrinkle-free, hydrated and healthy skin.

Stock Investing For Beginners

Over the decades, there has been one investment vehicle that has outperformed all the rest and that is the stock market. It is the single biggest wealth creator of our time and it is accessible to almost everyone. The key is to know when and how to invest, and to remember that you need a long-term time horizon. Having a long-term time horizon for the money that you invest in the stock market is important if you are investing for your future, retirement, or even day trading, because it MUST be money that you do not need to live your daily life. In other words, it is your last dollar, not your first dollar. It should be money that you don't need for rent, repairs, or the necessities of life, so that if the stock market were to turn out of favor, you would not be caught off-guard with no money.

So what does the owner of a beauty and lifestyle channel on YouTube know about stock investing? Well, you may not know this unless you are a regular viewer of my channel because I've mentioned it only a few times, but I'm a finance girl. I'm an accountant and about 10 years ago, I became very interested in learning more about active investing and day trading in the stock market, so I did what I do best and that is I set out to learn all I could, without going back to school that is, no time for that!  I learned all I could from reading books, articles, and taking internet courses, and with and my financial and business background, I began to put my own hard-earned money into the stock market to test my newly acquired knowledge.  It was love and first try; I made a $100 gain on my first trade and I was hooked.

In my latest video series on YouTube, I addressed stock investing for beginners. I want to share my tips and tricks that I have learned over the years to help inspire you to take advantage of the financial gains the stock market can offer.  Please watch my latest video series, because it is packed with helpful financial advice as well as stock trading information for beginners.  It's a two part series so be sure to watch both parts.  I have more to come on this series, so please be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel so you'll know when I upload. I really want to help you all be motivated investors and have a nice nest egg to fall back on in life.  - Linda, YouTips4U

How To Have Young Looking Hands

In my recent YouTube video, I share my beauty secrets on how to have young looking hands naturally because there is so much you can do to prevent, treat, and reverse aging. Having young looking hands has always been desired by women because we don't want our hands to make us look older. The younger you start caring for your hands, the younger they will look as you age. Hands are easily prone to premature aging because they are constantly exposed to the elements including damaging UV sun exposure.

Constant hand washing can be very drying and dry skin causes wrinkles to form more easily, and the skin on our hands tends to thin with age making veins and bones more visible. With these factors working against us, it is vital that we take special care of our hands, and this means daily moisturizing and avoiding harsh cleansers. Please watch my video above for more important tips on how to have young looking hands naturally. In this video, I also discuss the latest trend of women seeking cosmetic procedures and medical treatments on their hands in an effort to have younger looking hands, and as more women turn to using botox, fillers, and other cosmetic procedures on their faces, they are often self-conscious about the skin on the rest of their body looking out of balance with their face, especially their hands, so many women are now seeking cosmetic procedures and medical treatments for their hands as well. However, these procedures are not without risks, which I discuss in my above video, and many of the risks and side effects present with facial procedures apply to the hands as well, and some procedures may even impair hand function, so this is an area to be very careful about. Please see my video above to learn more.

Menopause and Perimenopause | Signs and Symptoms | My Experience | Natural Remedies | My Thoughts on HRT

I recently shared my experience with menopause and perimenopause in a video on my YouTube Channel (see video above) because I truly believe this subject needs to be addressed and embraced as part of life woman to woman.  For generations it has been a taboo, hush hush, subject of little discussion, which leaves women in the dark and isolated about their own body and feelings. I began to notice this as a young woman growing up as well when I asked my mom what was the matter when she sat crying one day. She said it was nothing, but later on, my father whispered in my ear that she was going through "The Change."  I thought, what change?  I had no idea, but I got the feeling from my mom that I shouldn't ask either.  Women get very uncomfortable talking this subject and often shy away from discussing it, so it's extremely difficult to find out information on it. I think sharing information is vital regarding this prominent life change, which is a complete metamorphosis for a woman.  I often hear other women on YouTube say, talk to your doctor if you want advice on menopause. But why? Why don't they talk about it? They mentioned it to begin with. Why does a doctor know more about the natural process of a woman's body than a woman herself. Does a doctor even know? Why can't we discuss this process with other women? Why is it so hard to find out anything about menopause and perimenopause? Why the hush hush culture on this? I suspect much of it has to do with the stigma of growing older, and in a youth-based society that means menopause takes a back seat, way back.  Why does it have to be associated with aging and broken bones?? There are positives that no one seems to focus on and I think they should be brought to light in the media and magazines. If that were the case, women would be excited for it. I address some of the positives in my video. The lack of information discussed on this topic can have a detrimental effect on a woman's life leaving her feeling isolated and withdrawn, depressed. Many women go through menopause in their thirties and it's like a truck hit them because they had no idea this could even happen! How could they, no one talks about it! Well I want to help change this culture of silence and bring this topic into the light and foreground to help women cope and deal with these changes. Our society boasts women empowerment, yet menopause, perimenopause, and post menopause are in the shadows. Why? Help me bring it into the light by sharing my video with others.

I did much reading into this subject as I found myself entering into this stage of my life myself, mostly because my doctor was not very helpful on this subject. Aside from being offered hormone replacement therapy, there was nothing more that was told to me about signs, symptoms, or emotional challenges or anything else. And for emotional support my doctor's suggestion is anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medications, and I found this to be true for other women too.  This is their answer. Medicate! So I took it upon myself to do what I always do and that is, research this myself because this should not be the only option for a woman who is searching for relief of menopausal or peri-menopausal symptoms, or even post menopausal symptoms.  Why do we need medications for a normal process? Did we take medications to get through puberty?  It's simple really, we need a natural solution for a natural issue. There is so much we can do to help ourselves naturally, and the earlier we have an understanding of what to expect in this time of life, the better. I covered these subjects and many more in my latest video, so if you are interested in learning about the signs and symptoms of menopause, the natural remedies available to you for support and relief, as well as my experience as a woman and what worked for me, then please watch my above video and share it because it will give you some good information and food for thought and you will gain so much knowledge into what it means to be a woman.
