Natural Remedies for Feminine Dryness
One of the biggest complaints women have during perimenopause and menopause is vaginal dryness and irritation due to fluctuations in hormone levels and decreasing estrogen. However, many women are made to feel like this is a medical condition that warrants going to a doctor to get a prescription for hormone replacement therapy (HRT), either pills, patches, or creams. You don't have to turn to HRT to mask or suppress symptoms of menopause which are a natural progression of life and a necessary process for a woman's body to go through. Women are led to believe that life is on the decline when menopause is reached, but nothing could be farther from the truth. It is actually a rebirth for women. I new freedom that is to be embraced. Perimenopause sneaks up on most women, often causing much anguish emotionally and physically, and part of the reason for this anxiety and worry is because women are not aware of all the symptoms and that this is a normal part of aging for a woman. Hormones begin to fluctuate once you reach age 30. They cannot be measured accurately because they are constantly adjusting and changing, but one thing is for certain, making healthy lifestyle changes will help you immensely.
